Wooden minicaravan: the sustainable mobility of Carapate and Milesi

Born from the inspiration of French architects Jean-Marie Reymond and Fabien Denis, the Carapate minicaravan focuses on retro design and ecological contents such as the use of Milesi paints to promote conscious tourism with a lower environmental impact

The project Carapate of type caravans teardrop (minicaravan or teardrop) was born in Nantes in 2018 and was marketed the following year.

Minimal dimensions, manufactured almost entirely in woodor, use of green accessories such as photovoltaic panels and last but not least the use of paints Milesi for the treatment of wood make Carapate mini caravans something more than small caravans.

In the Carapate minicaravan the space is small but optimised for total liveability. Easy to manage and store because It weighs just 560 kilograms It therefore also consumes less petrol when towed.

An important piece in the overall ecological choices of the project was placed by the Milanese Milesi, brand of the multinational IVM group, specialized in paints for wood and the home.

Carapate used Milesi paints, a company that has always been attentive to the environment, to protect the wooden paneling and at the same time enhance its ecological soul. Young, colourful, welcoming, the French minicaravan Carapate has not yet arrived in Italy but in France and Germany it already has many admirers. For transalpine buyers the price starts from 17.600 euros.
